Bez let me clarify Kaelyn's viewpoint a bit because you don't see the whole picture. I don't really see this particular case (his alts being in New Order) as a "getting to know ally better" because he wasn't Destiny member to begin with. Basically he was supposed to join New Order on his main twice. At first we joined his huna because his healer was still under the 7 days penalty which was because he had just left guild (Saints after starting to play again? I'm not sure). So we say that when penalty is over we'll invite the healer. Then he couldn't get hold of Kaelyn to invite after penalty was over and some people from Saints apparently had asked if he want to join so he joined to Saints which he mentioned on that first post. In any case I talked with him about if he wants to be New Order or Saints member since he now had main in Saints and alt at New Order. After short discussion he left Saints and said that he'll join the healer to us when the 7 days is over and I said that we'll put a character as gm that both me and Kaelyn can access so that we can both invite. Then some days later Destiny's people see his healer unguilded and ask him to join you. I don't think that your people know he was our member or that he was going to join us so I don't blame you for that. And in the end its up to people to decide themselves which guild they want to be part of.

I don't know how we can prevent that kind of situation happening again that we basically recruit people from other ally guilds unless the recruited people themselves mention this. But of course it's up to people themselves to say if they're already going to join other guild and up to people themselves to decide where they want to be. I'm sorry for my honesty but after being part of running New Order at ragnarok online for ~3 years me and Kae can see when people are loyal to a guild and when they really want to be part of a guild.

Wreath, care to explain? Why did you decide to apply here instead of joining New Order? Seems like Kae and Mys didn't know anything about this decision either.

We did know about it. Like kae said, its his decision what he wants to do.

and btw i think me and some others 90+ have influenced him with a lot of good partys. we had nearly all day min 1 party with eachother.

i wont fall into a discussion about how many times he changed his mind after reading what mystiga said, i just said my opinion here that its counted like 1 vote among the others, and to me it really matters how much sense of commiment can have 1 person with a guild. but as i said in the beginning thats my opinion.

i'm not sure how Destiny works when it comes to recruiting members but if someone wants to join Light and speaks to me about it, i usually am a bit cautious about how serious they are about joining. if i notice they're "eh... ah... idk..." then forget it i do not want them in the guild. although, i am not guild leader so i can't add and kick as i want, dmi is pretty nice at recruiting people. sometimes we have people who join for a few days or a week and then poof, they're gone. i'd rather have people who'd want to stay and get to know us better than guild hoppers who are looking for guilds to dp with.

i don't think the issue here is that he's not allowed to join Destiny because he said he was going to join NewOrder. i think it's a matter of trust of word and following through. it's whether or not he's someone who'd actually be able to stay in your guild before he sees a next. if he is able to join Destiny, i think NewOrder just wants his alts to leave their guild.

Like you can read from my earlier post, I think I made it pretty clear that he was supposed to join with the main (i.e. healer) twice and I even described the flow of the events so yes he said that he would.

That is correct.

My earlier post wasn't any vote since I'm not even in your guild. I was simply giving some background on our decision that its better if he leaves with the alts when he decides to join another guild after all this. In my opinion he made his own choice already when writing this application.

it was already unanimous that he was accepted if all he has to do is take his alts out of new order then fine with me he has his own reasons lets leave it at that
