The premise is that aliens have landed in S. Africa and humans have moved them into ghettos of sorts where they are basically treated as second class citizens. It follows the story of a middleman in the company as he is assigned to serve eviction notices to relocate the alien "citizens" into a new slum from their current one. Don't worry, that's the premise, so it really gives you no clue as to what happens.

There's nothing I can really say to prepare you for the movie. Don't watch the trailers, they have nothing to do with the movie and actually don't do it justice at all. Just suck it up and go see it ASAP, preferably in a good theatre not on a weekend (crappy audience.)

The amount of pwnage in the movie is beyond comprehension. It's like the CG in the Lord of the Rings where you can't tell where the CG and models and prosthetic and live action blend, it's all seamless. Definately takes a ton of cues off of first-person shooters (some have said off of Jackson's Halo movie project that didn't get off the ground.) Beyond the visual effects, the acting and storytelling is top notch, and the sound is amazing. I've never heard a movie sound treatment that is so sexy and seamless.

The last time I was watching a movie that had a similar effect of "omg what in the world am I watching?!" is probably Children of Men or The Matrix.

ive seen it i thought it had its moments ahd a Cloverfield feel to it in the beginning there was just one cheesy part, you'll know it once you see it, but anyway the computer graphics were absolutely amazing

I DL a TS version. I think it is good but not so good as zoo was saying :p
