Well im 14 Years old 15 in 7 days im from the uk i like playing football and playing rappelz, when im not at school i am playing rappelz, i want to join Destiny becuase i want to join a fun active friendly guild. if your want to no out else just ask.

Ok, quite brief, but I guess it has all we need to know.

Now this is my opportunity to be completely honest.

I haven't known kane for very long, but we became friends when he started coming on the same mumble server I frequent.

I personally have very little patience for those younger than me that tend to talk an awful lot. Sadly, kane is one of these people. When we have been on mumble he has been known to bombard me with requests to tame pets for him, or ask PC's on things and other inane questions about the game.

However, in the short time that I have known Kane, I have only heard positive things about DPs with him, he has a low level alt in my own guild, and will drop everything to get involved with guild activities. He has the right attitude about the game, is a fast leveller and knows his class very well. In sieges, he takes instructions, and follows them without starying to do what he wants to do, and thanks to him, EuroFighters helped to secure a win in a siege a few weeks ago.

He is an invaluable member of a guild, although his persistance in talking and asking questions can be annoying, this is something that can merely be put down to his age. This is something that each of you will have to judge individually.

I Agree with peach, i can be anoying and if i do just say and ill shut up

yea his app seems really nice, you should not always listen to what others say. people should be still givin a chance, end of day the guild is to let people have fun. give him a chance =o

Everyone of you hop on an alt and get your personal opinion by yourself.

The name rings a bell in my head, can't say whether it's good -
or alarm bell rining off. Will check during the next days,
then we'll see. Everything else would be unfair.

Oh - and puberty cant be a reason to not take him.
Else we had to kick several of our poberty folk -
and the guild drama queens aswell ofc.
Destiny would be pretty empty then.

Pebbles sums it up perfectly for me. We have had younger people in our guild before and it's not like the guild went down in flames because of their presence (remember Louis? He was 12 years old, and we did fine). If the concern is that younger people might tend to be annoying or do stupid stuff, then remember: idiocy is not age-dependent. If he shows us through the application process that he can handle himself in a reasonable and mature manner, then I don't see the harm in giving him a chance (with a little leeway given because of age, of course~ we are all human, we can't expect perfection).

Besides, why are we so concerned about his age anyways? You guys are all approaching this application like he's 10 years old, and he said he will be 15 in one week. If I recall correctly, Light joined the guild when he was just about to turn 15 as well; and Belle, you were 15 yourself not that long ago. ^^

besides a few grammar mistakes I don't sense he is a bad person or anything. he actually filled out the app in a reasonable way, which I have not seen many others older folks do. I must admit, that last sentence of his is really something ("if your want to no out else just ask." what?? lol).

i think it is a good thing for kids to ask questions so they can learn more. we all know how annoying kids can be. we were kids ourselves once and can you imagine how crazy we drove our parents?

from what Twilight says, he sounds like a good player.... just needs an -off- key on the mouth sometimes. give him a chance

I've been in a dp with Kanelaad last week on my healer. He did well as far as I remember. From what Peach says he seems to be a cool guy. It's a yes from me.

but 1 warning i dont like being asked 987654567898765678987656789 questions a day ......
i already have a 5 year old son and 3 year old daughter so i get that enough in r/l
so asking me a lot of questions wont be tolerated

Questions, in some cases, are the only way to learn about a subject of interest.. I know that even though I read about something, having someone else put it in terms in a way that they understand it helps me grasp the concepts a great deal. If you were to join Destiny, I would be happy to entertain your questions if I happen to know the answer or some idea of the answer -- after all, I was (still consider myself) to be new and I, too, asked about things I was unsure about to those who played the game for years.

So with that said, though I've just joined, I also would like to say "yes" to allow him into the guild for a chance.
