Dead in HV

So, I was in a dp, and after the dp I went back to town, and while waiting for someone to tell me what we were gonna do next, I fell asleep. I woke up a couple hours later, and I was still standing in hv. I went back to sleep, then came back only to find myself dead. Not only was I dead, but I lost experience, and my sala, which just hit r6, was also dead and lost experience. I took TONS of screenshots of convos, check this out.

PS. I know my skill bar is really messed up haha


















The first few screenshots are the convos that happened while I was afk, the I pmed HeavyRayne. After that I spammed whole chat looking for other people that died. Eventually Kentacard pmed me telling me what happened. I also have a screenshot of my msn log when I was talking to someone and I had fallen asleep, waken up, fallen asleep, then waken up dead. I am mucho cranky now, cause I worked my butt off to get exp today, and I was one dp or duo/quad away from leveling. Anyone wanna smack around some people for me? haha.

had that happen once =o

could be a AOE teleportation from a ++ mob or epic boss

(this is that just at the moment a mob uses aoe, yu click HV pass and teleport. with this the aoe also gets teleported)

You mean like, if someone else tped to hv and brought the AOE with them? Because I had been afk for a couple hours...

yes

this could be the case, since only people within a range were hit (thats what i understand from your post)

i did this a few times with ofo's aoe
but yu need to do it at the right time, which is a bit difficult

also this was in E5 didnt try in E6.
it could be that rappelz didnt fix this

i wonder if it was the ToLs bug or ToE's lord that aoed (bettys aoe isnt THAT strong is it?) (havent tested it myself as i havent found the mood to try sacrificing my main to betty)

Fail. So are they gonna do nothing about us losing exp over something that ridiculous??

well, last time i emailed customer support, it was about having my entire dp slowing getting dced (one by one) and not being able to log back on. my dp popped ss, and just into the ss for less than a few minutes, the bs (guardianP) dced. then the tank (stivenson). then someone else. then my friend turbopr. then me. then eventually most of the party dced and the remainder of the ppl logged to preserve ss. details were uncovered: by my alt, who hasnt been dced yet, since its on a separate comp, and by my turbo, who skyped me right after he dced and gameguard blocked him from logging back on.

i asked rappelz to reimburse my dp members (who i all knew) and i with replacement ss, since our ss was pretty much wasted by the time we were able to log back on at (different times). i sent them pictures too of my conversation with kuksi (one of the remaining ppl that havent dced) through my alt, and also a very descriptive explanation of the event.

what i got back was the same message. and a few days later, all i got was a message from the tech support saying something about being sorry and trying fix the problem as fast as they can (typical O.o...)

i nvr got another reply, nor did i get my rep ss. lol

but since wasting an ss didnt seem to have a direct relation to rappelz cs users, i think thats why they didnt seem to care much. dying in hv however, would seem like something that would effect the cs users' satisfaction with their hv pass; i think they would pay more attention to your case than mine, although it still seems like a rather minor bug... (bet they just want u to buy another gmfb =/...)

Betty crits my sin in dex gear (very little vit) for over 10k with his aoe.

then betty is indeed a possible suspect...

i scorching flamed blooretard and he died after he hv'd out because of the DoT lol he got onto hv bridge then died.

I was dead in HV about 20mins ago too, I hit HV pass to escape an unprovoked attack from ZeroExSoldier in M1 and ended up dead in HV. He must have put a hefty DOT on me to pull that one off =/
