Kill Stealing in Luna online is soooooooo bad.

Im at Crescent, IGN Crimson lvl 30ish warrior and Symphony lvl 30ish Guard.

When I was trying out Shaiya or whatever, I was in for like 30 minutes in the noob zone, and someone came up and started KSing my mobs. Sure I was just learning the game, I had dirt poor gear and the guy probably would have wiped me out very quickly.

But I wanted to PKon and smack the guy on the head! I couldn't figure out any way to do that, so I asked another player. They said there was no way to pkon in the game and the only way to fight someone was to both agree to a match! How lame. They could just KS you with no reprecussion!

Oh, and Crimson, about most of the players being A-Holes --- um... the target audience is 15 years old max. You were expecting a happy world of little girls being happy and nice all the time?

Well that percentage is applied to all mmos in general regardless the target age audience.
From the adult mmo "Red Light Center" up to the kiddie oriented "Hello Kitty Online", you get 10% nice people versus the 90% A-holes.

So does that mean that game's a total bust then? It seems totally ridiculous that that's how it works and that there's nothing they can do about it.

Yup.
There are quests to kill bosses. Imagine getting it down to 1% of its life then someone comes and kill steals it doing the last hit, they get the quest confirmation and you get time + effort wasted.

Other than this, Luna is a great game.
I know it looks childish but its very superior from Rappelz in terms of game item content (equipment sets etc), quest execution and character customization (full control of stat distribution and around 40 different class to choose from with lots of different combination).
